Cabinet Maker Mallet

Following plans from Shop Notes Magazine Volume 16 issue #5, I built a simplified cabinet makers mallet. The original design had some aesthetically pleasing curves that I eliminated for simplicity. The mallet is constructed from 1/4″ birch plywood and pine. Layers of plywood are laminated together to provide a solid mallet. The mallet was finished with a wipe on stain and four generous coats of polyurethane.
